Nice quick smog check. Always nice too here that it passed

My last smog check was several years ago, so when I got my renewal in the mail, I was annoyed and wanted to get it over with that day. Previously, my smog check cost about 40, so I was hoping for that. After calling around, including where I had done it previously, I got a of "can't today" or crazy prices ($70!?). That's when I saw this place. I was skeptical but called and a friendly guy asked my make and model and quoted 40 and said to come by. I show up a few minutes later and am again skeptical based on the place. It's not much to look at. The owner took my renewal notice and began working on my car. There was literally no place to sit. Talk about no frills. The owner then asked if I'd like to wait in the office and I quickly said yes. He opened an office/waiting room area that was again, no frills, but pleasant. He said it would take about 15 minutes and sure enough, 15 minutes later, he was done. $40 later, I shook his hand, got the paperwork and left. The next day, I was able to renew my car registration online. Don't let the look of the place fool you - professional, friendly, and reasonably-priced.
